Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

By downloading, installing, or using Lobe (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

2. What Lobe is

Lobe is a local-first HTTP performance profiling tool. The CLI runs on your machine and captures request timing data locally. Optionally, sessions can be uploaded to your Lobe account for storage, historical comparison, and cross-device access.

The Free tier requires no account and runs entirely on your machine. Pro and Team tiers add cloud storage and workflow integrations behind an account.

3. Accounts

• Free tier: no account needed.
• Pro and Team tiers: account required, created via Clerk.
• You’re responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• One account per person. Sharing credentials or reselling account access violates these Terms.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Lobe to intercept or capture traffic on systems you don’t own or have authorization to inspect.
• Reverse-engineer, resell, or clone the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
• Upload malware, spam, or intentionally invalid data.
• Attempt to circumvent plan limits, quotas, or rate limits.
• Impersonate another person or entity.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are processed by LemonSqueezy, our Merchant of Record. LemonSqueezy handles taxes, invoicing, and payment processing. We never see or store your full card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) until cancelled. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice sent to your account email.

6. Refunds

• 14-day refund window on your first billing period, no questions asked.
• Annual plans: refunds after the first period are prorated for unused months.
• Monthly plans: no refunds after the first period; cancel to stop the next renewal.
• Email getlobedev@gmail.com to request a refund.

7. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription anytime from your account billing page. Access to paid features continues through the end of the current billing period. Cloud-stored sessions are retained for 30 days after cancellation, then permanently deleted unless you re-subscribe.

8. Your data

You own the request captures and session data you produce. We store it on your behalf. You can export it (as JSON) or delete it at any time. We don’t sell it, license it, or share it with third parties beyond the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property

The Lobe software, brand, logo, and hosted infrastructure are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. The Lobe CLI source code license is stated in its repository. Your session data remains yours.

10. Warranty disclaimer

Lobe is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t warrant that measurements are accurate for every use case, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that it will meet any particular requirement. Use professional judgment when interpreting results.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lobe and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Total cumulative liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time via the billing page or by emailing us. On termination, your data is handled according to the retention policy in section 7.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be emailed to registered users at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
